Covering songs do pay off - 5/5
I’ve never been a fan of “Eurythmics” until a friend of mine introduced me to a “Sweet Dreams mash up” with “Seven Nation Army”, before another fantastic cover appeared on Sucker Punch. Now Cornwall based quartet Credicide have revamped the original to volume 11 into something you’re not going to forget in quite a while.
I’m not going to lie, the guitar tone has changed from their original EP into something a lot better and professional, vastly improved vocals and haunting growling to give the metal touch to the song, and with a solo more surreal than a Tim Burton movie, you can expect your mind to be blown away at the quality of it, including the ever-changing volume of the drums and the super tight rhythm section of the bass and rhythm guitar.
Bands now have a habit of changing drastically, whether it is from good to abysmal, or setting a foundation to launch off of. Now Credicidehave found that very foundation, they’re now setting off something big.
