He's Back (again) - 4/5
Plodge has gone quite away recently, to the pretty damn good EP 'Onwards’ before going downhill on “Be the One” with Connor Solle, but now he’s back with a brand new track featuring the guest vocals of Skeye Hewlett, he’s once more back on track to show the world that rap music isn’t actually as bad as it seems.
The song 'Unpredictable' reminds me of an Eminem song from the likes of the classics of ‘Stan’ to the newer ‘Love the way you lie’, with Skeye singing sweetly and softly over a brilliant piano melody, with Plodge doing a few cliché vocal fills that do get rather annoying in places, but in general gives a standard Plodge delivery as found on all his other work, with him now claiming to be "Unpredictable". And is he? Well, at the rate he's going I'm not suprised.
Got a good guest to sing? Check.
Got the music? Check.
Got the lyrics? Check.
If Plodge keeps churning up songs of this standard, his voice is soon going to be heard in almost any place imaginable. He’s slowly rising up, and at some point there’ll be no stopping him.
