A Pretty Non-Inspirational Prophet... - 0/5
The Faceless Prophet is literally anonymous. I know nothing about him and there is little other information about what he does, other than release the dark song “Temple of Doom”. It says it all, it’s gloomy, violent and somewhat sadistic compelling gruesome scenes, for example pulling out someone’s still beating heart from their chest for being the origin of cancer.
What a lucky guy...
It’s a never-ending story. It gets darker over a hip-hop beat with sinister piano samples adding to the horror. In the meanwhile The Faceless Prophet uses big words that don’t fit into a song normally, which creates confusion and sometimes just appears to be plain silly. Even so, it’s more of a trail of a politically charged message that radicals would seize without hesitation.
Like most rap songs, it’s dark and gloomy, but in other ways this one's pretty violent. The Faceless Prophet may want to be the person to lead the new generation forward, but violence is never an answer. And certainly neither is this song.
